Every room, down to the frame
Kitchen, baths, flooring, stairs, paint and finish carpentry. Walnut cabinetry, a full-length quartz island and an open stair with a cable rail replaced tile, carpet and a closed-in galley kitchen.
Kitchen
Laminate counters, white thermofoil doors and a black appliance package gave way to walnut cabinetry, quartz and a run of full-height storage.
Living & dining
The mirrored wall, dropped soffit and raised bar came out. Large-format porcelain runs unbroken from the entry to the back wall.
Stairs
Carpet and a painted spindle rail replaced with solid treads and a stainless cable rail that lets light through to the ground floor.
Primary bath
Dated tile and a cultured-marble vanity out; a frameless glass shower, marble-look porcelain and a soaking tub in.
Covered kitchen and pool patio
A cypress-lined gable structure, built-in grill and bar cabinetry, and travertine decking wrapping the pool.
Single-room remodels
Not every job is a gut. These were finished in weeks, not months. One room at a time, with the rest of the house still livable.
